Old Berkley Dighton Bridge Canvas Print

A fine art photograph of the old Berkley - Dighton bridge along the Taunton River in southeastern Massachusetts on a foggy morning. This structure has since been taken down and is being replaced by a new bridge.

I have been photographing for a long time. I originally worked in the traditional black and white darkroom process but eventually migrated to the digital darkroom. Among my influences are photographers such as Edward and Brett Weston, Minor White, Elliott Erwitt, Michael Kenna, Marc Riboud, Wynn Bullock, Paul Caponigro and many others. Exploration and discovery of both the urban and natural landscapes has led me on my haphazard photographic journey. Sometimes I notice things in my nearby environment, other times in my travels to places like the desert southwest and the California coast. Lately I seem to be drawn to more abstract work incorporating shadows, silhouettes and empty space. I am also becoming interested in the effects of time...
